Student Travel Subsidies
PURPOSE AND NATURE
The Canadian Acoustical Association offers “Student travel subsidies” to assist CAA student members to attend its Acoustics Week in Canada annual conference.
CAA Student Travel Support Awards – 2025 (Deadline is September 30th 2025)
Canadian Acoustical Association Student Travel Support Awards are available to help with costs associated with participating in the Canadian Acoustics Conference 2025 joint meeting.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a student currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution
- Be presenting a research poster or oral presentation at the conference
- Be travelling at least 300 km from your home or university to the conference
Each award will be on the order of a maximum of $500 CAD which will vary depending on the number of applications. Apply for the award here: https://forms.gle/kn2rAb1opm53sdw96. Contact CAA Award Coordinator with questions.
PAYMENT
A payment of $500.00 will be given to each eligible student. The recipients will receive their subsidies, at the address specified during their online application, after providing the proofs -if any- requested by CAA Award Coordinator.
