Sponsorship Information

Acoustics leaders, professionals, researchers from around the world will gather for one week of meetings to be held from Tuesday, May 2nd to Saturday, May 6th, 2023 in Montréal to plan the future of international acoustics standards.

This international event, held every 18 months across the world, depends on the visionary sponsorship of leading companies like yours to bring together industry experts to discuss the hundreds of acoustics standards developed and maintained through the International Organization for Standardization (links to the technical committee information pages are as follows: TC43, TC43-SC1, TC43-SC2 and TC43-SC3).

For the 80 to 150 delegates, the meetings are a chance to shape the future of standards in their field, to network with other top experts from around the world, and to learn of new advances in our important and growing discipline. For leading companies like yours, this is an exciting chance to support this community at a critical time.

We are seeking sponsors to cover the cost of the venue, delegate materials and a planned social event. Recognition will be in proportion to their contribution, but all sponsors will receive:

  • Recognition from the podium
  • Prominent display of company logo on displays, screens and signage
  • Space for material in delegate conference bags

We invite your commitment to support international standards development.  Commitments are requested as soon as possible to help in planning for the meetings; however, funds will not be needed until March 2023..

Note: No exhibition or trade show is associated with the event. While the meetings are confidential to members of the respective national mirror committees and working groups, representatives from major sponsors would be warmly welcomed to the social event. Sponsorship funds are used by the Canadian mirror committee hosting the international meeting, not by the Standards Council of Canada.
